Philosophy
Kyokushin means Ultimate Truth
“Kyokushin” means Ultimate Truth. Kyokushin Karate was born in the determination for the pursuit of ultimate truth of mind, technique, and body.
Definition of Kyokushin — Nepal Kyokushin Karate-Do Association (Bajra)
Karate is developed over a thousand years ago not only as a form of unarmed combat but as a way to discipline the body in order to improve the spirit.
By practicing Karate, one can increase his/her alertness, self-awareness and self-confidence by conditioning the body as improving speed, strength, and co-ordination. It is to achieve the unity of body and spirit.

The Kyokushin Karate Do Association, established at Dasharath Rangasala — the first martial art training legalised in the country.
Shihan Jagat Prasad Gauchan

Shihan Jagat Prasad Gauchan is the first martial artist of Nepal, born in a rural village called Pakhapani, Myagdi district.
He travelled to Japan for martial arts training in the toughest and strongest Kyokushin karate, with instructor Sosai Masutatsu Oyama — five years in Kyokushin Karate along with Kick-Boxing and Boxing.
He got his first international title in 1982 as Asian Champion in Singapore.

The style
One Punch Knock Out
Bajra is symbolic to the weapon of God Indra — thrown when every other weapon has failed.
It has weight category basis, face punching with gloves, good for both ladies and gents — and the Association intends it to become a professional martial art like boxing, Mua Thai and kick boxing.
