Shihan Jagat Prasad Gauchan is the first martial artist of Nepal, born in a rural village in Nepal called Pakhapani, Myagdi district.
Chairman Shihan Jagat Gauchan is the respected first martial artist who legalised martial art in Nepal and introduced the country to the outerworld through establishing Kyokushin Karate Do Association in Nepal.
